There are some times when one would just feel randomly tired during the day while he is at work or at school which is probably an indicator that he is overworked. Now when this happens, one would feel really drained, sleepy, and of course too tired to continue working. Now when this happens, one can actually take herbs for energy instead of drinking coffee so that he does not need to suffer the effects of coffee.

Now one of the most common of all herbs would be none other than the legendary ginseng. It is actually one of the most popular of all herbal medicines as it has a lot of properties that can actually give people a sudden jolt of strength. Its essence is actually widely manufactured and used in most energy drinks nowadays.

Now second on the list would be its equally popular but not mass produced sibling which is known as gingko. Now gingko is a kind of herb that is known to produce a lot of ATP in the body. Now for those who do not know what ATP is, it is a chemical that would give the brain the order to process more glucose in the body which of course in turn will give a person more strength and adrenaline.

Now for those who have a job that requires a lot of physical movement, then one of the most recommended herbs to take would be cordyceps. Now what makes cordyceps very interesting and very unique is that it increases stamina a lot. So if one is an athlete, he can actually take this herb because it can help him have a lot of endurance especially when he is in a competition.

Now a very good herb that one can take which is not very common is known as ashwagandha. Now this herb is quite unique because instead of giving the usual adrenaline boost, what it would do is that it would actually lessen fatigue which is the root cause of the tiredness. Of course this herb would even help one resist stress.

Nettles can be used to make a very nice tea that can actually be more effective than coffee but without any side effects. Nettles are actually full of different vitamins as well as nutrients that would actually boost strength. All one has to do is put some dried nettles in a pitcher of boiled water and just let it brew overnight.

Last on the list would be none other than the Reishi mushroom which is a very rare herb used by Chinese doctors for many years. It is known as the elixir of life because it can give a lot of energy in just a short span of time. Not only does it do that but it can also boost the immune system of a person by tenfold.
